Yes, you can cancel your registration if you have not paid the registration fee by notifying our committee at asci.astarscrabble@gmail.com. If you have already paid, the fee is refundable only if the cancellation is made at least 28 days before the tournament

Based on your birth year, you are eligible for the Under-18 category OR the OPEN category Here are the tournament categories: Under-12: Born on or after January 1, 2014 (e.g., 2014, 2015, 2016, and later). Under-15: Born on or after January 1, 2011 (e.g., 2011, 2012, 2013, and later). Under-18: Born on or after January 1, 2008 (e.g., 2008, 2009, 2010, and later). Participants must adhere to the following dress code: No sleeveless tops are allowed. Long pants are required. Covered shoes must be worn at all times. We recommend bringing a jacket, as the tournament hall may be cold. Additionally, participants are advised to wear the official ASCI 2025 shirt on the second day of competition.

Yes, definitely, everyone is encouraged to try their Scrabble skills against their peers, there’s always a first time for everyone! Plus, it’s a great opportunity to gain valuable experience and make new friends from different places.

No. All scrabble equipment will be provided by ASCI 2025. Participants are not allowed to use their own equipment.

Parents are not permitted inside the competition venue, but designated waiting areas will be available nearby.

Strictly NO food is allowed in the tournament hall. However, mineral water is allowed.

No. Calculators are not allowed in the tournament hall.

You are allowed to bring your mobile phones, but they must be TURNED OFF when the competition is in progress. All usage of mobile phones are only allowed outside the tournament hall. If participants are caught using their phones, or if their phone rings during the competition, ASCI 2025 retains the right to disqualify the participant.
